I received this from WordPress and I thought it was interesting enough to share. I think it kind of ties in with my previous post on Blogging in the New Year. I’ve made a few notes of my own. Those will appear in italics.
The stats helper monkeys at WordPress.com mulled over how this blog did in 2010, and here’s a high level summary of its overall blog health:
The Blog-Health-o-Meter™ reads Wow.
A Boeing 747-400 passenger jet can hold 416 passengers. This blog was viewed about 1,600 times in 2010. That’s about 4 full 747s.
In 2010, there were 21 new posts, not bad for the first year! There were 51 pictures uploaded, taking up a total of 25mb. That’s about 4 pictures per month.
The busiest day of the year was November 29th with 108 views. The most popular post that day was Thank you UPS man!. This actually gives a false impression of my readership. A splog reprinted this article, and I sought advice on how to deal with it from a forum I frequent. These views are people from the forum looking to see my article vs. the splog article. I’m pretty sure that my actual best days were Dec 15 (65 views) when I published How much does Zofran cost? and Dec 16 (78 views) when I published Leaving on a Jet Plane (to Ecuador).
Where did they come from?
The top referring sites in 2010 were message.snopes.com (from when I asked about that copyright issue), facebook.com, forums.helpher.org, whiningpuker.blogspot.com, and forum.helpher.org.
Some visitors came searching, mostly for prima bella wristband, how much is zofran without insurance, hyperemesis and vitamins, how much does zofran cost, and zofran cost.

Thanks to all of you for reading. It blows my mind when I toss something up of facebook and all of a sudden I get 50 hits. It’s amazing to me that so many people would be so interested in what I have to say. It’s a really cool feeling. Thank you.
I’m still trying to figure out how specifically I’m going to organize things for 2011. WordPress (which is awesome!) has a few articles on that floating around, so I just need to settle down, do some reading and some thinking, and then some writing. More to come on that later.
